Join us each morning, Monday - Friday, for the whole month of October for morning meditation in community.
All experience levels welcome.
Open to all Levels of experience
Time: Monday - Friday 8 - 8:30 am ET,
and Thursday Evenings from 7-8 pm
begins Monday, October 3rd, 2022

Soroosh Vafapoor
Soroosh has engaged in various forms of contemplative practice over the years, being first introduced to mindfulness practice during a 10-day silent retreat in Thailand in 2010. He recently finished his masters degree in spiritual care and psychotherapy. He currently works in Toronto, Ontario as a psychotherapist (qualifying).

Brittany McManamey
Brittany (she/her) is a Somatic Practitioner in private practice doing Somatic Experiencing and Dynamic Attachment Re-Patterning Experience with Touching the Earth Somatics LLC. She is a Crisis Stabilization and Safety (CSS) facilitator working nationally in crisis and disaster mental health support. She has been practicing intensive meditation for 8 years, including numerous silent retreats of 10 days, 6 weeks, and 3 months. Prioritizing daily life as meditation, she is passionate about bringing a playful, curious and creative lens to these transformative practices. Her primary teacher is Rodney Smith, to which she offers her deepest gratitude.

Sinikiwe Stephanie Dhliwayo
Sinikiwe (she/her) is a true creative and public speaker who for the last decade has made a home at the intersection of wellness and publishing. She is driven to practice and share meditation as a vessel for disrupting the status quo and uplift those who are marginalized by broader systems and structures.

Hanakekua (Hana) Joao Farquhar
I’m not interested in identifications - I’m interested in the quality of your heart. I’m grateful to all my relations, especially the land, my teachers, family and friends. A special thanks to S.N. Goenka, Bobby Alcain, Ayya Khema, Ajahn Sumedho, Bante Vimalaramsi, Cedric Reeves and my home island: Molokai, Hawaii. My dad used to say, “everyone’s got a theory” and I appreciate my teachers for describing the path in their own way. I’ve been actively practicing mindfulness and orienting towards freedom since 2015.

James Frank
James Frank is a certified Mindfulness Teacher (CMT-P) through the Engaged Mindfulness Institute and is currently in his final year of training as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), which is a body-based therapeutic model for healing trauma and other stress disorders.
He has been practicing meditation since 2010 when he sat his first silent retreat as a teenager. Since then, he has been avidly pursuing all things meditation and healing related. He has sat over 365 days’ worth of silent retreat and is passionate about bringing the power of meditation out into the world to kick ass and wake up. He practices under the guidance of his teacher, Rodney Smith.

Shea Riester
Shea has been studying and practicing meditation in the Zen and Vipassana traditions for 12 years. He is an ordained member of the Order of Interbeing in Thich Nhat Hanh’s Plum Village tradition. Shea is also a trained teacher of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and a Somatic Experiencing (SE) practitioner in-training. Mindfulness and the Noble Eight Fold Path saved his life, and he loves sharing these gifts with others.
