Heal from Stress and Trauma
I’m James Nepenthe.
I help people release long-held pain, regulate their nervous systems, and reconnect with clarity, aliveness, and joy.
For over a decade, I’ve guided thousands of people through trauma resolution, nervous system healing, and embodied transformation. Trained in Somatic Experiencing®, Dynamic Attachment Repatterning, MMFT, men’s leadership, and dharma practice.
I bring technical skill, lived experience, and unwavering presence. My purpose is simple: to help you be free of suffering and live with strength, love, and purpose.
Who I work with
This work is for people who:
Feel anxious, restless, or overwhelmed by their own mind.
Long for peace, intimacy, and purpose.
Are young men seeking healing, confidence, and direction.
Are couples who love each other but are stuck in painful cycles.
If you’ve tried therapy, meditation, or self-help without lasting relief — this work goes deeper.
What you’ll gain
Clients who do this work often find they can:
Rest and feel calm in their bodies.
Release trauma and stress held for years.
Experience resilience under pressure.
Build intimacy and trust in relationships.
Live with clarity, creativity, and joy.
My approach
My work is grounded in 15 years of training in Somatic Experiencing®, Dynamic Attachment Re-Patterning (DARe), MMFT, men’s embodied leadership, and dharma practice.
This isn’t talk therapy. We work directly with the nervous system, body, and mind to resolve trauma, release stored energy, and restore balance. From there, we untangle the beliefs and patterns that have kept you stuck.
At the core, my approach is about liberation — freeing you from suffering so you can live with presence, creativity, and love. It is also about activation — awakening your energy and purpose so you can lead and serve in these times.
Compassionate. Direct. Unwavering.

What is Nepenthe?
Nepenthe (na-pen-thay) is my name. It comes from the Greek word meaning "that which takes away suffering"—literally "not-sorrow" or "anti-sorrow."
